Welcome to Community Pharmacy Kents Website

Community Pharmacy Kent represents all community pharmacy contractors in Kent. Community Pharmacy Kent is an elected body recognised and configured under the NHS Act, set up to represent the interest of all local NHS Pharmacy Contractors. The committee includes representatives from Independent Pharmacy Contractors, The Company Chemists Association (CCA) and The Pharmacy Independent Association (IPA).

  • Our vision is to unleash the full potential of Community Pharmacies as catalysts for health promotion and well-being, delivering personalized clinical care, supporting individuals to manage their medications effectively, and providing integrated primary care services accessible within local neighbourhoods. Community pharmacies serve as the heartbeat of our communities, embodying our commitment to fostering healthier lives and stronger communities.

Impactful Research Award Winner

Community Pharmacy Kent was honored with the 'Impactful Research Award' for our Pharmacy First poster titled 'Embedding Pharmacy First in Kent and Medway.' at the Kent and Medway ICB Pharmacy Professionals Conference. It was fantastic to see four poster submissions from Community Pharmacy at the conference, including an outstanding entry from Paydens. This award recognizes the collaborative work between Kent LPC and the ICB Primary Care Transformation Team in embedding Pharmacy First across GP practices and Community Pharmacies. Kent and Medway continue to lead the way in engagement across the South East

Inspiring Leadership Award WINNER

We are proud to announce that our CEO, Mark Anyaegbuna, has been honored with the Inspiring Leadership Award at the 2024-2025 Kent and Medway ICB Pharmacy Professionals Conference. This prestigious recognition celebrates his outstanding contributions to fostering integrated working across healthcare providers for the benefit of patients, as well as his commitment to inspiring and empowering others.
