After a lot of work the PGD for pharmacists in Kent to use to prescribe vareniclene is due very soon.
YOUR SUPPORT FOR THIS IS IMPORTANT AS IT IS AN IMPORTANT SERVICE AND WE NEED ALL THE SUPPORT AND TOOLS WE CAN GET TO GROW THIS BUSINESS AND PERSUADE THE COMMISSIONERS TO CONTINUE TO USE COMMUNITY PHARMACY.
The up-date evening events for pharmacists, for the new Vareniclene/Champix PGD, to be implemented in Kent (not Medway which already operates a vareniclene PGD) have been arranged with Pfizer. The invitations to those that have expressed an interest will be going out very soon.

The forthcoming varenicline PGD update events for Kent, are at the following venues, which Pfizer have organised & funded:- :
27th June 2017 – Post Grad Centre at Pembury Hospital
29th June 2017 – Post Grad Centre at Darent Valley Hospital
18 July 2017 – Harvey Hall, Education Centre, Kent & Canterbury Hospital, Ethelbert Road, Canterbury, CT1 3NG
19 July 2017 – Trinity House, 110-120 Upper Pemberton, Eureka Business Park, Ashford TN25 4AZ
The events will all start at 6.30pm for registration and welcome and introductions will start at 7pm, the events are all due to finish at 9.15pm.
Implementing this PGD improves our offering helping patients to quit and you may have received a call asking if you wish to take part and implement this in your pharmacy. To get information about the scheme, contact the Kent Quit team at:
