GPCPCS FAQs

I am receiving the following message on PharmOutcomes “Provision not allowed outside grace period” How do I fix it?

Please see out guidance below:

Grace Periods FAQ

Do I need to contact the patient for a GP CPCS referral or do I wait until the patient contacts the pharmacy?

There has been a local agreement in Kent which states Pharmacists contacts the patient via Telephone to complete the GP CPCS referral.

If a referral has been sent before 1pm the first attempt to contact the patient should be made the same day, after 1pm the first attempt to contact the patient should be made by the following morning.
